According to the Vancouver Island Exhibition volunteer merch girl, Ryan McMahon and the Company Damn were the first band to receive an encore from the audience that braved the heat to see the Ladysmith rock band sweat out their set on the Save-On-Foods Main Stage.
Warming up the crowd for the Odds and Prism, RMCD played an hour long set of original music with a few tie ins of their favourite covers by The Raconteurs, The Arkells and Neil Young. Odds member, Murray Atkinson, joined the band for Rockin’ in the Free World.
